After more than 17 years of serving the Anchorage community as an educator, leader, and business owner, Branden Strauch is bringing his passion for helping people to Alaska House Hunting as Co-Owner alongside his wife, Joslyn Blanchard.

Throughout his career, Branden has earned a reputation for integrity, thoughtful leadership, and a genuine commitment to serving others. As Principal of Rilke Schule German Immersion School, he led one of Anchorage's most respected educational communities, working closely with students, families, staff, and community partners. His ability to listen, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and advocate for those he serves has made him a trusted leader—qualities that naturally translate into helping clients navigate the buying and selling process.

Before becoming principal, Branden spent years in the classroom, building meaningful relationships with families and becoming deeply connected to the Anchorage community. His experience has taught him that every family has unique goals, every situation deserves individual attention, and the best outcomes come from careful planning, clear communication, and putting people first.

Branden's entrepreneurial experience extends beyond education. As the Owner and Director of Word Travelers Language Camp, he successfully built and managed his own business, further developing his skills in leadership, organization, customer service, and strategic planning.

He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor's Degree in German and History. Combined with his years of leadership experience, these accomplishments have equipped him with exceptional attention to detail, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to guide people through important decisions with confidence.

Today, Branden joins Joslyn Blanchard as Co-Owner of Alaska House Hunting, combining his leadership background with Joslyn's extensive real estate experience of more than 18 years and over 700 successful transactions.  Together, they are committed to providing clients with exceptional service, honest guidance, and a relationship built on trust from the first conversation through closing and beyond.
